ARRESTS

8/4 2:45 a.m. April Rene Parent, 26, was lodged at Clackamas County Jail on suspicion of being an ex-convict in possession of a weapon.

DUII

8/2 2:48 a.m. Nicholas Clark Lund, 25, was lodged at Clackamas County Jail on suspicion of DUII.

8/3 12:46 a.m. Nikita I Pylikhin, 21, was lodged at Clackamas County Jail on suspicion of DUII.

8/3 2:40 a.m. Jared Thomas Cunningham, 25, was lodged at Clackamas County Jail on suspicion of DUI.

THEFTS

8/2 2:42 p.m. A resident said his iPad was stolen in late March.

8/4 12:51 p.m. A juvenile was caught shoplifting at Market of Choice.

8/4 7:57 p.m. A man’s wallet was stolen from his bag in the Willamette area.

8/7 1:53 p.m. Health items valued at $27 were stolen from Market of Choice on Hood Street.

8/8 8:57 a.m. Three volt meters and a drill were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the Savanna Oaks area.

8/8 9:41 a.m. A suitcase with clothes, toiletries, shoes and a briefcase were stolen from a vehicle in the Rosemont Summit area.

8/8 11:20 a.m. A fuschia hanging plant was taken from a back porch near the 1300 block of Blankenship Road.

8/8 11:23 a.m. Sunglasses, perfume, body sprays, stamps, an iPad and book bag were stolen from a vehicle in the Rosemont Summit area.

8/8 2:11 p.m. A wallet with credit cards and a driver’s license was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the Parker Crest area.

FRAUD

8/7 9:26 a.m. A woman sent $7,000 to a caller who claimed to be from the “District of Beaverton” and that her grandson had been arrested.

8/7 4:35 p.m. A man received a call from someone claiming to be from the IRS and that he would be taken to jail if he didn’t pay taxes.

8/8 12:37 p.m. An unknown person made online purchases and opened an account using a resident’s name.

ACCIDENTS

8/5 5:31 p.m. Two vehicles collided near Webb Street and Willamette Drive.

8/6 10:08 a.m. A mini-bus backed into a parked car on the 1600 block of Willamette Falls Drive.

8/7 6:17 p.m. Two vehicles collided near Bexhill Street and Ostman Road.

8/7 6:30 p.m. Two vehicles collided near the 1900 block of Willamette Drive.

LIFE IN WEST LINN

8/2 3:56 a.m. A woman said her husband did not return home. As an officer was leaving her home, the husband returned.

8/2 8:40 p.m. A vehicle was doing wheelies in a parking lot near the 19900 block of Willamette Drive.

8/2 10:00 p.m. A caller said a woman was acting strangely near the 22800 block of Willamette Drive. She was transported to Willamette Falls Hospital and then lodged at Clackamas County Jail.

8/3 12:58 a.m. Four suspicious looking men were hanging out in an SUV at Tanner Creek Park.

8/3 10:20 a.m. A suspicious looking vehicle was parking in a suspicious looking way at Robinwood Park.

8/3 3:06 p.m. A suspicious looking person was staring at employees and pacing around in the parking lot at the West Linn Library. He was waiting for a friend.

8/3 6:29 p.m. “Inappropriate activity” in a vehicle was reported in front of Shari’s restaurant.

8/3 7:02 p.m. A caller was being harassed via text messages.

8/3 9:14 p.m. A large bonfire was seen near the 4500 block of Riverview Avenue.

8/3 10:14 p.m. A suspicious looking subject was observed walking to the back of Sunset School.

8/4 5:25 a.m. A suspicious looking person was standing in a resident’s driveway and left when the resident came outside.

8/4 7:05 a.m. A resident lost a cell phone with a black case and pink flowers.

8/4 4:47 p.m. A woman said her seven-year old son was assaulted by an 11-year old at a camp at Fields Bridge Park. She said a water bottle was thrown at him and racist comments were made.

8/4 9:30 p.m. A caller said a motorcyclist pulled up and tried to throw garbage in their car on Interstate 205.

8/4 9:43 p.m. Two men were suspected of trying to camp out at Mary S. Young Park.

8/5 1:43 a.m. A man was yelling that he was going to kill someone near the 100 block of Dollar Street.

8/5 9:43 a.m. A woman said that after paying a company to move a vehicle, she was asked for an additional $200 upon arrival. She refused and the company left with the vehicle.

8/5 2:50 p.m. A woman was receiving harassing voicemails from a homeowner in Cannon Beach. The woman had been in a dispute with the homeowner after determining a vacation home was “unlivable.”

8/5 3:14 p.m. A homeless person took a shopping cart from Walmart on the 19100 block of Willamette Drive.

8/5 3:52 p.m. A man said his wife was approached in their driveway by two men who wished to purchase their pick-up truck, which was not for sale. The men were “very persistent” about wanting the vehicle.

8/5 5:19 p.m. A woman reported suspicious looking men were asking about a car near Cherokee Court and Old River Drive.

8/5 6:07 p.m. A caller reported a stolen Xbox and possible juvenile abuse.

8/6 2:39 a.m. Four subjects at 7-11 on the 19100 block of Willamette Drive were “causing problems.” Peace was restored.

8/6 8:51 a.m. A caregiver for a woman’s ex-husband who passed away was refusing to give up his vehicle.

8/6 10:03 a.m. A woman was concerned that a man had been camping at Mary S. Young Park.

8/6 10:11 a.m. A caller said his ex-stepmother was harassing him about financial issues related to his deceased father. Neither party lived in West Linn, and they were referred to Beaverton police.

8/6 1:07 p.m. A woman said she received two calls from a Washington D.C. number, and that a man who could “barely speak English” claimed to be from the IRS and that she would be arrested if she didn’t pay a fee.

8/6 1:55 p.m. A man said he lost his concealed handgun permit.

8/6 2:53 p.m. A woman said she was having problems with her child, who was being defiant and disrespectful, attempted to run away and tried to steal valuables.

8/6 3:48 p.m. Three subjects were seen swimming across the river near the 25400 block of Swiftshore Drive. Then, two of the subjects defecated on a man’s lawn and cleaned it with leaves.

8/6 5:43 p.m. A caller said their son was having a psychiatric issue, had broken a television and threw things around the house.

8/6 8:16 p.m. A woman said a man took a picture of her and her dance troupe near the 19900 block of Willamette Drive. She thought he might be camping at the park and felt uneasy.

8/6 9:03 p.m. Two juveniles were seen lighting “something” on fire near the 3400 block of Parker Road.

8/6 10:00 p.m. Suspicious looking juveniles near the 1900 block of Hall Street were just star gazing.

8/7 3:11 a.m. A woman heard the sound of an electric scooter near the 2700 block of Rainier Place.

8/7 10:15 a.m. A man was “laying in a bad spot” with his legs sticking out in the road near Hidden Springs Road and Willamette Drive.

8/7 3:11 p.m. A meth pipe was found at Mary S. Young Park.

8/7 4:06 p.m. A caller said a suspicious looking man was selling ice cream out of a van near the 3700 block of Wild Rose Loop and making her feel “uneasy.”

8/7 4:39 p.m. A child who had been missing for 45 minutes was found hiding in the garage.

8/7 11:04 p.m. A loud party was reported near the 1200 block of Farrview Court.

8/8 1:46 a.m. Subjects had been loitering “all night” in the parking lot at Shari’s restaurant.
