A West Linn resident is asking for help finding her lost dog.
Casper, a walker-bloodhound mix, was last seen running down Rawhide Street on June 10 about 7 p.m., owner Lisa Bunday said. He was dragging his leash.
Search-and-rescue dogs tracked Caspers scent to Mary S. Young Park and then south-southeast along the river and woods down to the old bridge/I-205 overpass area, Bunday said. Despite the attempts of search teams, including paddle boats on the river, Casper has not been seen, she said.
Casper suffered abuse in the past and is frightened of people, Bunday said.
He is very scared of everything and is most likely hiding under something in the woods, she said.
Casper is 4 years old, about 110 pounds and is white, black and tan.
He looks like a giant, overweight beagle stuck in a bloodhound-sized body, Bunday said.
Casper is very submissive, Bunday said. If approached, he will likely run away. Anyone who spots him should maintain visual contact and call Bunday at 503-260-9800.
