THEFTS

12/7 6:18 p.m. A vehicle was reported stolen from the 4000 block of Robin Place.

12/9 3:39 p.m. A chainsaw thought swiped from a front porch in the 5300 block of West A Street was just borrowed without permission.

12/12 1:38 p.m. Ski equipment was stolen from a home in the 4500 block of Damon Drive. A contractor is suspected.

FRAUD

12/6 11:26 a.m. Someone copied a Craigslist ad from the 20300 block of Noble Lane and is trying to get people’s deposits.

12/10 4:07 p.m. Fraudulent credit card use was reported in the 3400 block of Cascade Terrace.

ACCIDENTS

12/8 9:33 a.m. Three vehicles were involved in an accident in the 19300 block of Willamette Drive.

12/8 9:07 p.m. The driver of a vehicle that plowed through a yard and front porch in the 19900 block of Roan Circle fled the scene.

12/9 2:41 p.m. An accident was reported at Hood Street and Willamette Drive.

12/11 1:29 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 19000 block of Willamette Drive.

12/12 3:21 p.m. In an auto versus pedestrian accident at Willamette Drive and Willamette Falls Drive, the pedestrian walked away with a broken finger.

LIFE IN WEST LINN

12/6 1:59 p.m. A woman grew concerned when a friend started making “funny noises” while on the phone.

12/6 3:24 p.m. A so-called friend was refusing to return loaned knives near Cornwall and Lancaster streets.

12/6 8:25 p.m. A Christmas tree was inhibiting traffic on southbound Interstate 205 near 10th Street.

12/7 4:14 a.m. Men were being loud and swearing on the corner of Marylhurst Drive and Marylwood Court.

12/7 8:11 a.m. Two men got out of a van for 10 minutes in the 19900 block of Derby Street and then got back in and left again. They were inspecting playground equipment.

12/7 12:52 p.m. Police helped search for a possible trauma victim who fell off a two-story building in the 2300 block of Fifth Avenue.

12/7 5:12 p.m. Loud holiday music could be heard in the 1100 block of Blankenship Road.

12/7 6:59 p.m. A hitchhiker appeared not to be dressed for the weather near Marylhurst and Willamette drives.

12/8 7:52 p.m. An elderly man was seen crawling at Maddax Woods in the 5700 block of River Street.

12/9 12:42 a.m. A suspicious person in the 19500 block of Hidden Springs Road was seen carrying garbage bags in and out of an apartment.

12/9 8:02 p.m. A woman was concerned about a man walking out in the cold in the 20300 block of Noble Lane.

12/11 8:43 a.m. Police assisted with a large truck on fire in the 18300 block of Willamette Drive.

12/11 11:48 a.m. A former employee in the 18700 block of Willamette Drive was still using an employee rewards program after being terminated and spent $275.

12/11 5:35 p.m. In the 1900 block of Willamette Falls Drive, police assisted in keeping a pregnant woman who was locked out of her vehicle warm.

12/11 11:29 p.m. A caller was frightened by a “round, bright, white light shining through the trees.” It was the moon.

12/12 10:49 a.m. An irate gas attendant in the 19100 block of Willamette Drive yelled at a caller and threw a gas cap.

12/12 11:41 a.m. A suspicious woman parked in the 2000 block of Sylvan Way was taking pictures. She told an officer she was just looking for a friend’s house.

ANIMAL ANTICS

12/7 1:53 p.m. A dog appeared to be trapped in a water feature in the 1100 block of 12th Street.

12/11 7:29 p.m. A large cat or bear was spotted near Fourth Street and Fifth Avenue.
