Howard graduates from Lehigh

Jarrod Howard of West Linn recently graduated from Lehigh University as a member of the Class of 2017. Howard graduated with a bachelor of science in business and economics degree with a major in finance.

Lehigh University conferred 1,071 bachelor's degrees, 360 master's degrees and 49 doctoral degrees.

Residents earn honors from UI

West Linn's Brennan van Alderwerelt received a PhD in geoscience and Anna Keil was recently named to the University of Iowa's dean's list for the 2017 spring semester.

Undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering, and the Tippie College of Business who achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on 12 semester hours or more.

Keil was one of approximately 5,000 students who were named to the UI dean's list for the 2017 spring semester.

Wright graduates from Boston University

West Linn resident Brett W. Wright received a master of fine arts degree in film and TV studies from Boston University in May. Wright was one of 6,045 students to receive degrees.

Founded in 1839, Boston University consists of 16 schools and colleges with more than 250 programs of study in science and engineering, social science and humanities, health science, the arts and other disciplines.

Davis makes Clemson's president's list

West Linn resident Tabitha Leigh Davis was recently named to the dean's list at Clemson University for the spring 2017 semester. Davis is majoring in financial management.

To be named to the dean's list, a student must achieve a grade point average greater than 3.5.

Carr makes Marist's dean's list

West Linn resident Hannah Carr was recently named to the Marist College dean's list for the 2017 spring semester.

Marist College has 4,700 enrolled traditional-age undergraduate students and more than 1,300 adult and graduate students in 46 undergraduate majors and 13 graduate programs.

Callaghan graduates from Tulane

Tulane University awarded degrees to nearly 2,800 graduates at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on May 20.

Those receiving degrees included West Linn's Cameron Callaghan of West Linn, who earned a doctor of medicine degree from Tulane's School of Medicine, a master of public health degree, and master of science degree from Tulane's School of Medicine.
