The Bucks kicked off the season on Thursday with a jamboree hosted at Western Mennonite High School.
St. Paul went unbeaten in four single-set games, defeating Perrydale 25-10, followed by Delphian (25-11), Regis (25-11) and Crosshill Christian (25-7).
Logan Robinson and Isabelle Wyss led the team with eight kills each, followed by three from Haley Scott.
Marley Martinez set the team up with a team-high 16 assists and six aces.
Karlee Southerland added five assists, while Emma Connor chipped in four aces.
The Trojans opened the season unbeaten in three games at the Columbia Christian Tournament on Saturday.
Kennedy defeated City Christian 2-0 (25-6, 25-9) to start the day, followed by a 2-0 (25-6, 25-17) win over the hosting Knights.
That win set up a showdown with the Horizon Christian Hawks, coached by former Kennedy skipper Staci Sprauer. Kennedy went on to win 2-1 (22-25, 25-15, 16-14).
