Kennedy responded with four runs in the fourth, one in the fifth and four more in the sixth, while Susee kept the Braves silent at the plate in the fourth inning before getting relieved for the final three innings by Sam Moreno.

Reedsport added a run in the top of the seventh before the Trojans shut them down for good to take the first round victory.

Blake Traeger led Kennedy offensively with four RBIs while going 3-for-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles. Susee and Noah Giberson each added two RBIs in the win.
