Gervais, Kennedy and St. Paul represented at the Salem track meet
Junior Ben Goumy placed second in the triple jump with a mark of 40-7.75 to lead the Cougars at the Meet of Champions at Willamette University. Goumy also set a personal-record time of 16.97 in the 110 hurdles.
Junior teammate Henry Fleener placed 14th in the shot put with a makr of 40-9.25 and Jordan Milkovich was eighth in the javelin with a mark of 150-7 three days after re-setting his school-record mark at 159-5.
Senior Cody Tesch placed 13th in the 1,500 with a season-best time of 4:26.48. Beverlyn Stott set a new PR in the 200 with an eighth-place time of 27.27 and was ninth in the 100 at 13.14.
Freshman Bishop Mitchell set a new PR in the high jump with a third-place mark of 6-0 to lead the Trojan boys. Sophomore teammate Angel Mendez took fourth in the triple jump with a PR of 39-8.75 and senior John Savage took 12th in the 800 with a time of 2:09.06.
The Trojan girls were led by Loghan Sprauers first-place mark of 5-3 in the high jump and second-place time of 59.75 in the 400. Sprauer also set a new PR in the 100 with a time of 12.95 to place sixth.
Senior Madison Sprauer set a new PR in the pole vault with a height of 9-0 to place sixth and set a season-best time fo 49.97 in the 300 hurdles to place fourth.
Junior Amelia Grosjacques set a season-best time of 16.97 in the 100 hurdles to place fourth.
Junior Remy Brentano led the Bucks in the long jump with an 11th-place mark of 14-8.5. Brentano also placed 16th in the 100 with a time of 13.60 and 18th in the 200 with a time of 28.67. Teammate Emma Coleman was 16th in the shot put with a mark of 29-8.25.
The boys team was led by David Elias, who placed 13th in the 800 with a time of 2:09.82 for his best time this season. Teammate Ryan Soumokil placed 16th in the long jump at 17-10.75 and 23rd in the 200 with a time of 25.43.
Senior Austin Burleson was 20th in the discus with a mark of 88-9.
