Washington Elementary celebrates reading

Monday was “Hats Off to Reading Day,” for which students could wear a favorite or crazy hat; Tuesday was “Books Lead to a Brighter Future Day,” so students dressed in bright colors; Wednesday was “Share a Book with a Buddy Day,” which encouraged students to dress like twins; Thursday was “I’m into Books?Day,” encouraging students to dress up like their favorite book character; and Friday was “Curl Up and Read Day,” or pajama day.
