Mini-grant helps Washington Elementary improve students' health

The grant will go toward purchasing pedometers for the students of Washington Elementary.

“We are very appreciative of Maps’ ongoing support and of the support we receive from our entire community,” said Principal Juan Larios.

Earlier in the school year, Hopkins was also able to secure $544.58 through DonorsChoose.org to purchase floor hockey equipment, Larios added.

Between the two awards, Hopkins has raised $894.58 for the physical and health education of students at Washington.
