Adolfo Martinez Bautista
Adolfo Martinez Bautista, 11, son of Delia Bautista and Adolfo Martinez and brother of Ana, Ernestina and Guillermina, is in sixth grade.
His favorite classes are science and math in Ms. Beams class.
After high school he said, I will be a teacher to teach students.
The staff member who nominated him said, Adolfo works very hard to complete assignments and participate in classes. He has also done a fabulous job of being a friend and helping other students to be successful in class. He is a very kind and thoughtful young man.
Leslie Alvarado, 12, daughter of Victoria Alvarado and sister of Daisy Garcia and Josie Nguyen, is in seventh grade.
Her favorite activities are sports and her favorite classes are P.E. and science.
She said about her future goals: After high school, I want to go to college and have a job.
Leslie is a terrific student, said the staff member who nominated her. She is always helpful and on task. She participates in volleyball and manages a balance between academics and athletics. She is a well-rounded individual who is on the right track.
Chelsea Guzman Baltazar
Chelsea Guzman Baltazar, 13, daughter of Olivia and Jose Guzman and sister of Jazmin, Estrella and Alexia, is in eighth grade.
Her favorite classes are math, science, language arts, Spanish, English and gym.
She said her future goals are going to college to study and be a doctor, police (officer) or join the Army.
I have been extremely impressed with Chelsea as a hard working student, as well as a role model peer and friend to her classmates, said the staff member who nominated her. She arrives promptly every day ready to learn with a great attitude. She is cheerful and kind and brings a great energy to the classroom and our school. Chelsea embodies the Spartan 3 of responsibility, safety and respect. It is an absolute pleasure to have Chelsea in my classroom and I look forward to the rest of the year.
