Thursday, Sept. 28

• 12:26 p.m.: Police responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of North Main Street, a citizen report theft of gas. An officer contacted the complainant and explained the process.

• 4:16 p.m.: Police responded to a report of reckless driving in the 200 block of South Garfield Street, police were unable to locate subject vehicle.

• 8:04 p.m.: Police assisted with a fire call in the 500 block of South Main Street.

Friday, Sept. 29

• 6:23 a.m.: Police responded to a report of a family disturbance in the 700 block of South Main Street, the officer responded and advised the subjects of the complaint. The parties separated.

• 7:23 p.m.: Police cited and released Joseph Zeis, 56, of Mount Angel, in the 300 block of North Main Street, he was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.

Saturday, Sept. 30

• 6:20 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle in the 800 block of East Marquam Street, the officer observed a vehicle that had been parked overnight at a non-residential location. Vehicle appeared to be undisturbed.

• 7:15 p.m.: Police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 800 block of North Main Street, the officer observed what appeared to be illegal fireworks being set off. The officer was unable to locate the subject(s).

• 8:20 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle at the intersection of Wilco Highway and Koerner Road, the officer was unable to locate the subject vehicle.

Sunday, Oct. 1

• 8 p.m.: Police made a traffic stop at the intersection of North Main and East Marquam streets; a citation was issued for open container and no operator's license.

Monday, Oct. 2

• 7:24 a.m.: Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Abbey Drive, the officer observed smoke. Upon further investigation, it was determined to be coming from a construction vehicle, which, according to the employees, is normal.

• 12:26 p.m.: Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Downs Road and Annen Lane, an officer responded and provided traffic control until the fire department arrived.

• 9:55 p.m.: Police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of North Main Street, an officer made contact with a suspicious person in a vehicle who had been at the location for some time. The subject was waiting to meet with someone.

Tuesday, Oct. 3

• 3:01 p.m.: Police responded to a report of counterfeiting in the 300 block of Cindy Lane, a citizen reported that they suspected they were being scammed. The officer advised them to refuse contact with the scammers.

• 9:10 p.m.: Police responded to a disturbance report in the 700 block of North Spruce Street, complaint received regarding two individuals arguing loudly in the city park. It was determined to be verbal and the parties agreed to separate for the night.
