Woodburn police have arrested a local man who has been wanted on various felonies over the past several months.
Sergio Silva, 24, of Woodburn, was arrested March 12 after being spotted near a house on Doud Street.
Upon seeing officers, Silva ran, jumped over fences and through several yards before a perimeter was set around him by police to contain him. He surrendered without incident.
Woodburn police were assisted by Marion County Sheriff's deputies and Gervais police officers.
Silva was arrested on warrants for first-degree robbery, and was charged with two counts of first-degree burglary, first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and a parole violation.
In addition, this arrest closes a number of Woodburn Police Department investigations, including cases of second-degree assault, first-degree burglary, first- and third-degree criminal trespass, second-degree theft and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. The WPD asks anyone with information on the crimes related to Silva to call 503-982-2345. Silva was lodged in the Marion County Jail.
