A man was arrested Monday after he assaulted police officers and had trespassed onto the Woodburn High School campus.
When two police officers confronted Rudy Rodriguez-Ortiz, 22, of Woodburn, he responded aggressively. They attempted to handcuff him, but he fought back, resulting in scrapes and bruises to all three involved. Rodriguez-Ortiz was then Tased twice. One officer was treated by a local doctor for injuries to his face and arms.
Rodriguez is being lodged at Marion County Jail for trespassing II, two counts of assault on a public safety officer, resisting arrest, criminal mischief 2 and a probation warrant for assault IV.
