Police seek public's help in vandalism incident
Police are seeking the public's help in locating a pair of witnesses who might know details around a Mount Angel woman's car vandalism.
Around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, 21-year-old Laiken Douglas, of Mount Angel, left her car on Crooked Finger Road Northeast, near Scotts Mills, after it was having mechanical problems. When she came back to get her car, it had been destroyed.
Marion County Sheriff's Office is seeking to interview the father and son who helped Douglas get home after breaking down. Deputies say the two may live in Oregon City, drive a truck and the father may possibly be named Mike. They are not suspects but may have valuable information that can solve what happened to the vehicle that evening.
Anyone with information about the witness or the incident is asked to call MCSO at 503-588-5032.
