Police seek public's help in vandalism incident

Police are seeking the public's help in locating a pair of witnesses who might know details around a Mount Angel woman's car vandalism.

Around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, 21-year-old Laiken Douglas, of Mount Angel, left her car on Crooked Finger Road Northeast, near Scotts Mills, after it was having mechanical problems. When she came back to get her car, it had been destroyed.by: MARION COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE - When Mount Angel resident Laiken Douglas returned to the scene where her car broke down, she found it vandalized. Police are seeking help from the public to locate possible witnesses.

Marion County Sheriff's Office is seeking to interview the father and son who helped Douglas get home after breaking down. Deputies say the two may live in Oregon City, drive a truck and the father may possibly be named Mike. They are not suspects but may have valuable information that can solve what happened to the vehicle that evening.
