Two new bus routes stop in Woodburn daily


Two new buses that cover the Portland-Eugene corridor are now stopping in Woodburn twice daily, according to a press release from Oregon Department of Transportation.

Passengers can hop on a bus at the Woodburn Transit Center, located on the corner of Evergreen Road and Highway 214, at the following times: 7:25 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. for the southbound bus; and 9:25 a.m. and 6:50 p.m. for the northbound bus.

ODOT also announced the addition of new Talgo Series 8 trains that will help rail passengers travel between Vancouver, B.C., and Eugene. No train stops are scheduled for Woodburn.

Features of the schedule going into effect include replacing several bus routes with trains, adding new stops on bus routes and adding new bus service.
