Woodburn Police Department received numerous calls Monday morning reporting 14 vandalized garage doors and about 12 opened cable boxes exposing cut cable cords at The Estates Golf and Country Club.
At 8:55 a.m. Woodburn Police officers Brandon Smith and Tom Courson responded to homes around the golf course with reports that Wave Broadband cable television boxes had been severed, houses had been tagged by yellow graffiti and lawn furniture had been strewn into the golf course, according to Smith.
The damaged cable television boxes were predominately located in the backyard areas of the victims, along The Estates golf course. Woodburn Police are working with Wave Broadband to determine total damage costs.
Were going to be extra diligent with patrols at night to make sure everyone is safe, said Smith.
He said the graffiti doesnt appear to be gang related.
