Chamber sings carols, hires office manager
At its monthly forum lunch, the Woodburn Area Chamber of Commerce announced Riley Buck as the new office manager.
The announcement came Dec. 11, the same day it was made on Facebook.
Buck was among nearly 20 people who dined at Woodburn Health Center while listening to and singing along with local musician Jack Quinby.
Although the announcement was publicly made, Riley Buck declined an interview with the Independent at this time.
During the forum lunch, chamber board president Bob Rhoades said their new executive director will be announced at the chambers annual meeting on Jan. 10.
Buck and the new director are taking over for Rhonda and Don Judson, respectively, who retire at the end of this week after six years working for the chamber.
