Two males were arrested at their homes following an alleged robbery and assault of a Woodburn woman early Sunday morning.
Woodburn Police Department responded to a call in the 600 block of Church Street at 5:15 a.m. Sunday.
The victim, Diana Ramirez, 34, of Woodburn, had gotten a ride home from a party from the two suspects, at which all three attended.
Ramirez allowed the two suspects into her home to use the restroom and saw one of the suspects, Ricky Corona-Espinoza, 19, of Woodburn, with her money in his possession.
They allegedly began arguing about the money when the other suspect, a juvenile, hit her and knocked her to the ground, according to Detective Sergeant Nick Wilson, who is investigating the case.
Corona-Espinoza then allegedly choked her from behind, according to Wilson.
Ramirez refused medical care after the alleged assault, Wilson said.
Corona-Espinoza was found later that morning at his home, but was uncooperative and tasered by Woodburn Police before being brought into custody, according to Wilson.
He was arrested and charged with assault 4, strangulation, robbery 1 and criminal mischief 3. He is being held under $100,000 bail at Marion County Jail.
The name of the other suspect, 17, was withheld due to his status as a minor, according to Wilson.
