Grads & Honors for Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin and Sherwood
Adelaine Prinz of Tigard, an undergraduate student at Boise State University, is a recipient of the 2017 Workers' Memorial Scholarship award, presented by the Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Division.
Jessie Koster of Sherwood, a 2017 graduate and four-year letter winner with the University of Dallas volleyball team, was nominated for the National Collegiate Athletic Association Woman of the Year.
Kaitlyn Steiert of Beaverton has been named a George E. Mylonas Scholar in Humanities at Washington University in St. Louis.
Sarah Paul of Tualatin earned the spring 2017 Dean's Award for academic excellence at Colgate University.
The following students were named to Lawrence University's 2016-17 dean's list: Cynfor Lu and Abhishek Venkatesh of Beaverton; and Brenna Ori and Jaime Gensler of Tigard.
Kara Loutzenhiser, an incoming junior at Southridge High School in Beaverton, was admitted to the National Society of High School Scholars.
