At Woodland Heights, our attitude is gratitude

WOODLAND HEIGHTS ASSISTED LIVING RESIDENCE - Linda ElderIn unsettling times, we can lose focus. No matter what we want or need and often do not get, we have the power to control our own thoughts and positive directions.

At Woodland Heights, we have many positive things for which to be thankful.

We have the opportunity to work in a great industry, which is a business, but for us, it’s a calling. It’s not just a job, but a fulfilling choice where we can go home at night feeling good about the people we were able to help today and not begrudge another workday tomorrow.

We are grateful for our owners, who had the vision to build this special place; grateful that they have chosen to focus their energy on only this one building; grateful that they always support our goal of providing the best care possible.

We are grateful for each other, as no day is the same and the one guarantee is change and surprises. Our team always pulls together to adapt, help each other and help our residents. The words “It’s not my job” are never heard here.

We are grateful for the wonderful families we are blessed to work with, while finding solutions together to meet the changing needs of our residents.

We are grateful, mostly, for our residents, grateful that they chose to place their trust in us; grateful each time they share with us about their desires and ideas and lives. Each one is a very special person.
