Company that installed Oregon electric vehicle charging stations goes bankrupt
Another promising clean tech company that won early federal funding is biting the dust.
San Francisco-based Ecotality, which received a large federal grant to deploy electric vehicle charging stations, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and announced it will auction off its remaining assets on Oct. 9
Drive Oregon, the state-supported trade group for the EV industry, says it will work to ensure that EV owners can still use the network of Blink charging stations erected in Oregon by Ecotality, and that they will be maintained.
