Sierra Club says OSU the nation's 11-coolest school
Oregon State University ranked as the 11th coolest school in the nation in the Sierra Clubs new rankings of environmentally minded colleges.
The University of Connecticut snared top honors for green colleges this time from the Sierra Club, which ranked 162 colleges and universities around the country.
Lewis & Clark College ranked No. 19, Southern Oregon University ranked No. 26, Portland State University ranked 31st, and the University of Oregon ranked No. 46.
California claimed four of the top 10 schools: UC Irvine, UC Davis, Stanford University and UC Santa Barbara.
Washington schools that made the list are the University of Washington, at No. 12, Evergreen State College at No. 17, University of Puget Sound at No. 75, Western Washington University at No. 80, Washington State University at No. 107 and Seattle University at No. 109.
