The child fell from a second-story window on Timber Crossing Lane

A 3-year-old Sherwood boy was taken to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center by Life Flight helicopter early Tuesday afternoon after falling from a second-story window in the 17000 block of Timber Crossing Lane in Sherwood. Firefighters from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue’s Station 35 in King City responded to the scene at 12:06 p.m., according to Alisa Cour, a spokeswoman for TVF&R. Cour said an off-duty firefighter responded to the scene initially and rendered aid until other emergency personnel arrived. Life Flight landed in a grassy area near the athletic fields at Sherwood High School.
