Neighbors, parents, classmates and others are holding a fund raising car wash this Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sherwood Kohls parking lot. The group is asking for a $5 per car donation. Checks can be payable to the “see ya later foundation” or “SYL.”

Cole notes that, “I hope you can enjoy your clean car in remembrance of me.”

Arachnoid cysts are swelling the in membranes that protect the brain and spinal column. They can be present at birth, spontaneously develop or can be caused by disease or injury. While small cysts can be left untreated, they can also grow, placing pressure on the brain. Symptoms may include fatigue, seizures, paralysis, developmental problems, sensory or motor problems or fluid on the brain.

Treatment includes a range of measures to lower the pressure or drain the cysts.
