Children learn about Oregon's ancient technologies, try to develop tools based on historical designs

Borowicz hosted an hour-long workshop Tuesday to teach students about ancient technologies by showing examples of Oregon artifacts used by Native Americans who lived in the area. After the brief intro, children were encouraged to create their own tools like boats, fish hooks and shelters, at different engineering stations set up in the library.
