'Sing Your Own Messiah' supports Neighborhood House
Community members can support Neighborhood House — the Multnomah Village-based agency that assists low-income children, families and seniors in Southwest Portland — by attending the annual "Sing Your Own Messiah" concert at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church.
The concert will be held Dec. 21 from 7-9 p.m. at 9750 S.W. Terwilliger Blvd., and community members can donate food and cash to support Neighborhood House's partnership campaign.
Through the campaign, Neighborhood House is looking to raise $210,000 to continue offering its safety net services in the coming year. These services include the group's Emergency Food Box Program; programs that help with energy bills, rent and employment; and transitional housing for homeless families.
Contributions to the partnership campaign can also be mailed to 7780 S.W. Capitol Highway, Portland, OR 97219. Donations can also be made online at nhpdx.org/supportourwork/support.html.
