Burglary investigation leads to arrest of 16-year-old, recovery of property

One teen was arrested.WEST PORTLAND PARK — This morning, detectives from the Portland Police Bureau's burglary detail served a search warrant in connection with several Southwest Portland residential burglaries.

The warrant was served at a residence in the 11200 block of Southwest 45th Avenue and a 16-year-old female was arrested for five different residential burglaries.by: SUBMITTED PHOTO: PORTLAND POLICE BUREAU - Suspected stolen property.

The five charges of first-degree burglary are related to residential burglaries of homes all within 1000 feet of the suspect's residence.

Detectives have recovered a large amount of suspected stolen property from the suspect's residence.

The juvenile suspect will be lodged at the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Hall.

This investigation is continuing and no additional information can be released at this time.
