Broadway Rose's 'CATS' runs June 27 through July 21


This is the first time the show has been self-produced in the Portland area

by: CRAIG MITCHELLDYER/BROADWAY ROSE THEATRE COMPANY - DANCING WITH TAILS AND PAWS - The amazing costumes and sets that are part of Broadway Rose's production of 'CATS' are rented from Musical Theatre West, but the dancers and actors are all Broadway Rose-hired.Broadway Rose Theatre Company continues its 2013 "Season of Memories" with the Broadway phenomenon "CATS."

Based on T.S. Eliot's "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, this enchanting musical features the immortal ballad "Memory" as well as a collection of other whimsical tunes.

Broadway Rose Theatre is the first Portland-area theater to self-produce "CATS." Preview performance is Thursday, June 27, with opening night Friday, June 28, and continuing through July 21.

Evening performances are Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m.; matinees are at 2 p.m. on Sundays, and on the following Saturdays, July 13 and 20.

"CATS" will be performed at the Deb Fennell Auditorium, 9000 S.W. Durham Road, Tigard. Performance run time is 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one 15-minute intermission.
