Three stabbed at Southeast Portland club
Police have arrested a man suspected of stabbing three people during an early Sunday fight in a Southeast Portland club.
None of the victims' injuries were life-threatening. Their name was not immediately available.
Christopher Pantoja, 23, was charged with three counts of Assault in the Second Degree. He also received non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, at 12:37 a.m. on June 22,East Precinct officers responded to the Syrian Lebanese American Club, located at 11610 Southeast Holgate Boulevard, on the report of a fight and stabbing.
As officers were on their way to the scene, additional information was broadcast that a total of three people were stabbed and that two of them left the scene to go to a hospital. The suspect was also report to have fled the scene.
When officers arrived at the scene, witnesses described the suspect, who located and arrested a few blocks away on 114th Avenue near Boise Street.
