Deputies were called around 2:30 a.m. to the Dotty's establishment at 20571 S.W. Tualatin Valley Highway in Aloha, concerning an assault and robbery. Multiple deputies responded to the area to render aid to the victim and search for the suspect.

Deputies learned there was one man who reportedly attacked the 32-year-old female clerk as she closed the establishment for the night.

Deputies were told the clerk went outside and was locking the front door behind her to close for the night when a man ran up and began striking her in the head with a solid object.
