Three people were wounded in a suspected gang-related shooting in Northeast Portland on Wednesday evening.

Two of the victims were hospitalized and the third was treated at the scene. Their names and conditions were not immediately released.

According to police, at 9:24 p.m. on April 16, North Precinct officers responded to the report of a shooting at a residence in the 11100 block of Northeast Knott Street.

When the officers arrived, they located three gunshot victims inside the residence. Two of the three victims were transported to a Portland hospital for treatment to gunshot wounds. The third victim was treated at the scene by medical personnel.

Preliminary information indicates that the shooting is gang-related, so the Gang Enforcement Team is responding to conduct the investigation.

Suspect information was not immediately released.
