Mt. Tabor reservoir off-line
The Portland Water Bureau was forced to shut down one of its Mt. Tabor reservoirs Wednesday morning after three people were spotted trespassing
Bureau officials said Wednesday the trio jumped the fence guarding Southeast Portlands Reservoir 5 around 1 a.m. Police caught them and cited them for trespassing.
Bureau staff are now combing through surveillance video to determine whether the suspects urinated into Reservoir 5, of which about 14 million gallons of water a day flows through.
Customers are not being affected by the closure, according to PWB. Officials arent yet sure when it will be re-opened.
