Milwaukie bar brawl leads to stabbing, arrest
Police arrested a Milwaukie woman early Tuesday morning after a bar brawl allegedly escalated into a stabbing incident resulting in serious injuries for the victim.
On March 18 shortly before 1 a.m., two women reportedly got into a physical fight in the parking lot of the River Road House Bar, 11921 S.E. 22nd Ave., Milwaukie.
MPD Officer Ulli Neitch said the fight escalated until 24-year-old Arielle Rochel Kumailani Moore was stabbed multiple times with a knife. Moore was transported to Emanuel Hospital in Portland with serious injuries.
Police arrested Milwaukie resident Danielle Marie Welsh, 23, on charges of first and second-degree assault. Police also charged her with menacing two other victims, but they did not release the names of the others involved. Menacing, a Class A misdemeanor, is defined by state law as a crime where someone intentionally attempts to place another person in fear of imminent serious physical injury.
Welsh is lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on a $1,015,000 bail.
