Shots fired at apartment wound man
A 26-year-old man was shot and wounded inside a Southeast Portland apartment Sunday evening.
His name and condition were not immediately released.
According to police, at 7:49 p.m. on Feb. 23, East Precinct officers responded to the area of Southeast 73rd Avenue and Powell Boulevard. Officers arrived and learned a 26-year-old male had been shot while inside his apartment.
The victim's injuries are non-life-threatening. He was transported to an area hospital.
Early reports indicate that the victim had been inside his home when multiple rounds were fired into the apartment from the outside.
There is no suspect information at this time and no one is in custody. The investigation is continuing.
