Police unable to find victim of Buckman neighborhood stabbing


Portland police officers are investigating an early morning fight that escalated to a stabbing at a Southeast Portland bar.

Central Precinct officers responded to a call about a fight and stabbing at 1:31 a.m. on Dec. 16, at Sassy's Bar and Grill, 927 S.E. Morrison St. Witnesses told the police that a suspect left in a vehicle and a victim with a stab wound walked away.

Officers found the suspect nearby and took the person into custody. Officers searched the neighborhood but were unable to find the victim.

The victim is described as a white man in his early 20s wearing a gray hoodie. He is about 6 feet tall, weighing 175 pounds with shaggy short to medium length blonde hair.
