Portland police searching for suspecty in Lloyd district stabbing
Portland police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect in a stabbing that took place Thursday afternoon in the Lloyd district.
On Dec. 12, at 2:29 p.m., North Precinct and Transit Police Division officers responded to Northeast 11th Avenue and Holladay Street on the report of a stabbing.
Officers and medical personnel arrived and contacted the male adult victim who told police he'd been stabbed by an man while using the payphone on the NE corner of the intersection, next to Holladay Park.
The victim was transported to a Portland hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers searched the area for the suspect but did not locate anyone matching the suspect's description.
The suspect is described as an African American male with short hair wearing a red hoodie, black jacket, blue jeans, and white shoes. The suspect was last seen on foot in Holladay Park.
Officers are reviewing area surveillance cameras to see if additional information can be obtained about the stabbing.
