Police seek thief who stole heaters at Zupan's

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in the theft of outdoor heaters from the Lake Oswego Zupan’s store.

Outdoor heaters valued at $6,000 were reported stolen from the store at 16380 Boones Ferry Road on Nov. 29 and 30, according to police. A suspect reportedly made three trips to steal the heaters — one at about 10:15 p.m. Nov. 29 and the other two between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. Nov. 30. He was reportedly driving a different vehicle for each of the trips.

The vehicles used in the thefts were described as a 1998 to 2000 Nissan Frontier single cab, possibly gray or green; a dark-colored, late 1990s GMC Tahoe; and possibly a 1993 to 1995 Ford Taurus of an unknown color.
