Dave's Killer Bread founder released from jail

Dahl, 50, a Milwaukie resident, posted bail and was released at about 1:30 p.m. Nov. 16, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was arrested at about 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, after a disturbance that led to a collision with sheriff’s patrol cars and a fight with deputies. Dahl was lodged in the Washington County Jail on charges of second-degree assault, assaulting a peace officer, attempt to elude a police officer, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and reckless driving.

Deputies were called to a disturbance at a Cedar Hills house in the 2400 block of Southwest Timberline Drive Thursday night after a man was reported to be acting erratically. Deputies arrived and the suspect rammed one of their cars with his black Cadillac Escalade and drove away. After a short pursuit, and after three patrol cars had been wrecked, the man was taken into custody at Southwest Scenic Drive and Scenic Drive Court. Three deputies and the suspect were all treated for injuries at the hospital.
