Sherwood is one of the top 10 places in the nation to live, according to Money Magazine.
CNN/Money Magazines Best Places to Live list announced Monday morning has Sherwood at No. 5. Its the only Oregon city to make the list. Washington towns of Newcastle (19th) and Mill Creek (39th) also were on the list.
Money Magazine editors compiled the list with information gathered by Onboard Informatics, which looked at 1,326 towns across the country with populations of 10,000 to 50,000.
The company screened the cities for several factors, including median family income, diversity, quality schools, job growth and economy, ease of living, traffic and community spirit.
The winner? Sharon, Mass., a town of 17,944.
Others in the Top 10 include Louisville, Colo.; Vienna, Va.; Chanhassen, Minn.; Berkeley Heights, N.J.; Mason, Ohio; Papillion, Neb.; Apex, N.C.; and, West Goshen Township, Pa.
