Drive-by shooting leaves wounded man bleeding on street corner
Portland police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that left a man bleeding on a North Portland street corner.
Police said the man suffering from a gunshot wound was found at about 9:33 p.m., July 2, at the corner of North Alaska Street and Chautauqua Boulevard. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The victims name and medical condition have not been released.
Witnesses told police the gunshots came from a vehicle heading east on North Alaska Street. The vehicle was not located.
Traffic in the area is affected as officers investigate the shooting.
