The Jesuit Crusaders stormed into the Class 6A championship round on Saturday, taking care of the Canby Cougars 35-17 in the Oregon School Activities Association semifinals at Jeld-Wen Field.

Jesuit will return at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7 to face the winner of Saturday's second OSAA semifinal between Central Catholic and Tigard.

The Crusaders gave up the first touchdown in the semifinal, then led 14-7 at the half and 14-10 through three quarters before breaking it open with several key plays.

Chase Morrison was the workhorse for Jesuit (11-2). He ran 44 times for 225 yards and three touchdowns.

The Jesuit defense held Canby (7-6) to six first downs and 71 yards rushing.

In total offense, the Crusaders had a 334-152 edge.
