But OSU rushed for only 16 yards (Terron Ward had six carries for 31 yards, and Sean Mannion was sacked six times).
Mannion completed 27 of 44 passes for 299 yards and three touchdowns, with two interceptions.
One of his TDs was a 23-yarder to Brandin Cooks.

LaMichael James ran 24 times for 142 yards and a touchdown before re-injuring his right elbow in the third quarter.

Oregon was coming off a 38-35 loss to USC that derailed the Ducks' national championship hopes.
The win put the Ducks at 10-2 overall and gave them the Pac-12 North title with an 8-1 conference record.
Oregon went on to beat UCLA 45-38 in the first Pac-12 title game and then defeated Wisconsin 45-38 in the Rose Bowl.
Oregon State finished 3-9 overall and 3-6 in the Pac-12.
