Addie Mae Willbroad
September 27, 1916 - January 13, 2014-
Addie May Willbroad while at home surrounded by family and friends peacefully took the hands of Jesus on January 13, 2014. She died from complications to a Urinary Tract Infection. She was born to Fred and Sylvia Blackman in Mulino. She was the middle of 9 siblings. She later met the love of her life Eugene Willbroad and married in Molalla on November 6, 1935. They started their life together in the Dryland area. In 1937 they gave birth to a daughter Carol Jean. Then in 1944 they purchased a 200 acre farm on Needy Road. They raised timber, pigs, cattle, turkeys, oats, wheat, vetch, and barley to name a few. Her husband passed away March 30, 1970 and she remained a widow till death. Addie was an avid fisherman. She fished the hog lines in Oregon City for 40 plus years. She also adored gardening, playing pinochle and loving on her family. She is survived by her daughter Carol Lenhardt of Canby, her grand daughter, Melissa Kauffman, and grandson, Kevin Lenhardt, both of Canby. She has 4 great grandchildren, Seth and Michael Kauffman, and Joseph Lenhardt, and Becky Marrow (deceased). She also has a great, great grand daughter, Madison Bankhead-Kauffman. Although she had many friends, Bill Rose was her most cherished and loved friend. She will be missed by all. Private services were held January 17, 2014 at 11:00 at Canby Funeral Chapel with burial at Rock Creek Cemetery. Any contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
