Church officials seeking volunteers for next term of program' other ministries looking for assistance as well

Love INC, of the Newberg area, celebrated some of the successes of its Relational Ministry recently, and is also seeking more volunteers to serve as mentors for the next term.

The association of local churches and ministries recently shared some of the financial success enjoyed by the 15 participants enrolled in the program, who have raised their combined monthly income by $3,949 and reduced their combined debt by $2,500 in a span of 10 weeks.

"They also indicated significant changes in their increased hope, life satisfaction and decreased stress," a release from Love INC stated. "They are even attending church on a more consistent basis!"

Next up for the Relational Ministry is the Jobs For Life class, set to begin Jan. 11. Those interested in volunteering as a mentor can send an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or visit www.loveinnewberg.org.

The Non-food Pantry ministry at C3 Church is in need of full-size toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste, as well as shaving cream.

Newberg Church of the Nazarene would benefit from donations of cough, cold and flu medications for both adults and children, along with Band-Aids and ointments for its Over-the- Counter Meds ministry.
