Republicans endorse two local candidates for county office
The Yamhill County Republican Party announced two endorsements July 16 for the upcoming November election. For the remaining Board of Commissioner chair, Stan Primozich was the clear choice.
He has been an outstanding member of our community and would be a great addition to our Board of Commissioners, Alaina Conroy, party secretary said in a press release.
In a new move, the party also endorsed sheriff candidate Tim Casey.
Our membership has decided that we should be endorsing Republican candidates for nonpartisan offices, said Party Chairman Al LeMay. We began that process tonight with the vote to endorse Tim Casey for Yamhill County sheriff.
