There are numerous ways to support the work of Love INC (In the Name of Christ), but the newest may just be the easiest.
Fred Meyer customers can link their rewards card to Love INC after the retailer set aside $2.5 million to donate this year to nonprofit organizations in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington via its Fred Meyer Community Rewards programs.

The organizations top three needs this month are shelter hosts, a Tuesday receptionist and mentors.
Among the needs at Love INCs various ministries are new utensils, especially big spoons, soup spoons and pancake turners, as well as pots and pans for the kitchen set-up ministry at 2nd Street Community Church.
The Love INC clearinghouse is asking for donations of sleeping bags for the homeless kits it puts together, in addition to umbrellas and gloves for the Hats Umbrellas Gloves and Scarves (HUGS) ministry.
The over the counter medications ministry at Newberg Church of the Nazarene is in need of a Tylenol, ibuprofen, antacids, multivitamins and anti-diarrheal medication for adults, as well as Tylenol, ibuprofen and multivitamins for children.
The Clothes Closet at 7th Day Adventist Church is calling for mens jeans, as well as pants and shirts for young boys, while the diaper ministry at Joyful Servant Lutheran Church needs diapers in sizes five and six, as well as baby wipes.
Lastly, Family Life Church needs volunteer stylists for its Shear Joy Haircuts ministry, while St. Peter Catholic Church is requesting twin-size blankets for its Linen Closet ministry.
The Love INC dinner club, a program through which local restaurants donate 10 percent of their sales for one day, will be at Pogys Subs Feb. 18.
