Labyrinth walk set for Friday night

North Valley Friends Church will host a free candlelight labyrinth walk from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at North Valley Friends Church, 4020 North College in Newberg. Everyone is welcome and facilitators will be available. For more information, call Debbie Headley at 503-547-7993.

St. Peter to host open house Sept. 30

St. Peter Catholic Church will offer adult classes for anyone — Catholic or not — interested in studying the Catholic faith. The first meeting will coincide with the church’s open house at 7 p.m. Sept. 30. The purpose will be to search together for the source of energy and new life in the midst of a world filled with conflict and division, according to organizers. Questions are encouraged. Check out classic cars at Newberg Christian

Newberg Christian Church will hold a car show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. A free lunch will be provided from noon to 1 p.m. and there is no cost to enter a car into the show. A registration form is available online at www. newbergcc.org. For more information, call 503-538-9057.

Joyful Servant ­administrator retiring

Joyful Servant Lutheran Church will celebrate the retirement of longtime church administrator Diane Miller following worship services Oct. 6. The church will honor Miller’s 27 years of service with stories, photographs, visits from former pastors, fellowship and a shared meal.
