Wolfe hired on at First Federal; county tax assessor will stage seminar
First Federal hires Wolfe
Newberg's First Federal branch has hired Ron Wolfe as its vice president/commercial relationship manager. Wolfe, who has more than 16 years of commercial banking and lending experience, most recently served as Premier Community Bank's vice president of commercial banking and branch manager. A George Fox University graduate and lifelong Oregon resident, Wolfe is also involved with many local organizations including the Early Bird Rotary Club of Newberg, the Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce board of directors, Newberg area Habitat for Humanity and more. He is also a member of the Newberg Planning Commission.
Personal property seminar planned
The Yamhill County Tax Assessor's office will hold a seminar that will answer questions about the business personal property tax and how it relates to businesses. The discussion will cover definitions of personal property and business, what is taxable, what happens if one fails to file, and more. There is limited seating for the event, which can be reserved by calling 1-503-434-7521. There will be two sessions held Jan. 17, from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m.
