OSP troopers responded to a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 99W and Haugen Road in the early afternoon. According to an OSP report, Linda Zike, 66, was traveling northbound on the highway when the hood of her Honda Odyssey flew up, obstructing her view and causing her to slow and pull toward the shoulder. A Ford, driven by Griselda Valdez Reyes, that was following Zike, was struck in the rear by a Dodge Integra driven by Leasa Boscole, which pushed Reyes’ car into Zike’s van. Reyes’ car left the roadway, the report said, and went over an embankment, but it was Boscole who was transported via ambulance to Providence Newberg Medical Center with minor injuries and was cited for following too close.
