Chiropractor ready to get you back on your feet

It’s been a few years since Dundee saw a new chiropractor come to town, so when Halley Moore saw an opportunity to open up shop, she took it.

As of March 17, even though she was still putting Ikea furniture together, Moore Chiropractic Clinic is open for business. Moore said she loves what she does, even though it wasn’t the field she thought she would go into.

“I was raised with my dad being a chiropractor so chiropractic work has always been part of my life. I’ve personally had to use chiropractics all my life and know the benefits have helped me,” she said. “So while in undergrad working with my adviser, I decided the chiropractic route instead of med school. Growing up I always wanted to be a medical doctor, but as soon as I went to chiropractic school I loved it and it changed my mind. I love being able to treat people and be able to help them.”

Moore uses diversified chiropractic techniques as well as instrument-assisted manipulation tools. So she treats most any malady, from lower back pain to sprains, strains, neck pain — the list goes on.

“I can treat kids to elderly and I don’t specialize in specific sports chiropractic or elderly, I treat the general public, including pregnant women,” she said.

The clinic will be open from 9 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at its location at 1226 Highway 99W.

“I also can do appointments anytime, I’m more than willing to come in on the weekends,” Moore said.
